DELPHINE was
launched in 1921 at the Great Lakes Engineering Works, Michigan, USA for the
late car pioneer Horace Dodge and bought by the present owner in 1997.
She has undergone a complete rebuilding and refit in Belgium.
DELPHINE is a full blown twin screw quadruple expansion steam reciprocating
powered vessel and which has been totally restored to a hundred percent
original condition with new boilers. Both engines have been fully rebuilt.
She even has a separate steam engine under the forecastle to operate the
anchor windlass.
She is for the first time in her existence available for charter in the
Mediterranean where she is based.
With her 10 staterooms, luxurious accommodations including a gorgeous sun
deck, a private hairdressing saloon, fully equipped spa, DELPHINE is the
perfect yacht for a romantic trip, family occasions as well as corporate
events. She is a unique vessel. A truly unforgettable experience. |
